Windsor Ghost Tours


The tour starts at 7 Thompson's Square Windsor (Next to the Macquarie Arms Hotel)
 
Experience walking with the spirits of the Hawkesbury pioneers…….. “If you dare”, Janice Hart 
a member of the Hawkesbury Historical Society, will be your guide and your journey begins at 
no 7 Thompson Square Windsor, this building that once was the home of the Pioneer settler, 
John Howe. Come along on a lantern lit Heritage Walk around Windsor. Visit Green Hills Burial 
Ground, the oldest burial site in the Hawkesbury Valley. Feel the presence of the convicts who 
were hanged at Windsor Courthouse and laid to rest without ceremony. Phillip Cunningham, a
leader at the Battle of Vinegar Hill in 1804, is one of these. View the “Macquarie Arms Hotel”,
built in 1815 – the oldest Hotel in Australia still being used for its original purpose. Feel the 
aura of important men and women from days gone by as you walk where Governor Macquarie 
planned our countries future. You may feel the presence of Mary who died here in the 1800's. 
At the end of the tour relax and ponder the sights and sounds of the evening. Tour starts at 
7pml. If you don't want supper then we can start a little later.
 
NOTE Comfortable walking shoes are essential! Sandals not appropriate. Bring a camera
Ghost Tours run on Saturday nights and can be run through the week if you have a group 
of 18. The tour runs rain hail or shine. This tour will cost $30 per person or $100 for 4.

This tour includes a light supper. If you book a group of 18 - 24 and don't want 
supper the cost will be $20 a person so let me know when you book. If you do a 
group without supper and you want to start later this can also be arranged if you
let us know at the time of booking.

If you book and then decide not to go because of rain we will give you a voucher to use at 
a later date.

Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves weekend Tours

Come on a tour to visit the Blue Mountains and Jenolan caves, visit Norman Lindsay’s gallery and house, listen to a concert in the caves and stay overnight at Jenolan Caves.
The tour  includes lunch and morning or afternoon tea both days, accommodation dinner and breakfast as well as any entries except at scenic world. Visit local gardens, craft shops and galleries also Eco Point and Scenic World. We will stop at Scenic World but entries here are at your own expense. Tour cost  is $580 per person twin share.
Contact us with when you would like to go and then we will confirm the dates with you. There is a minimum of 2 people per tour.

We have a tour on the weekend of the 27th and 28th June There are some places still available. These tours fill up quickly so first in first served.
